Part # 8055241041 is an OEM drain valve that is used on several different Atlas Copco, Quincy, Pneumatech and Chicago Pneumatic inline filters. This part number is also shown as 8055 2410 41 and 8055-2410-41.

The float rises as moisture builds up inside the filter housing. This drains the water out automatically without wasting expensive compressed air. There is a manual backup integrated within the valve. The top portion sits inside the filter bowl and is secured by a wing nut. The stem on the bottom allows for connection to a poly tubing to direct the moisture where you would like it to go.

This is an OEM part made by Chicago Pneumatic / Pneumatech. This was one of several different float drains used on a variety of Atlas Copco branded filters most commonly sized between 6 and 50 CFM.
