3001170230 is designed to fit the SPR5 and SPR10 oil free scroll compressors from Chicago Pneumatic and Quincy. These are sometimes referred to as SpiralAir compressors.

The tip seal on the scroll compressor is self-lubricated and allows the unit to operate efficiently without oil and expensive filtration. The tip seal should be replaced every 5,000 hours of operating @ 145 psig for the high pressure oil free compressor pumps

This part number may be shown in your manual as 3001 1720 30 or 3001-1720-30.

Note this kit is only designed to fit the scroll pumps that operate at 145psi and will not work with the standard pressure 116psi models.
