This separator element will fit most QRS10HP and QRS15HP air compressors that were manufactured BEFORE September 2008. This part number may be shown in your parts manual as 2903 0871 00 or 2903-0871-00. This is also a common replacement filter for several Atlas Copco compressors and will fit their G7, G11, and G15 air compressor series.

Often times the filter will be labeled as 1622 0871 00. If the separator filter inside your compressor is marked with 1622 0871 00 (aka 1622087100), then purchasing this 2903087100 filter is correct.

When changing the separator element, it is also recommended to change the Rotair compressor oil, 2903033701 oil filter, and 1613900100 air filter element.

A separator element should be changed every 4,000 hours. The separator filter removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent downstream. Proactively changing the separator element will reduce the pressure drop across the sump tank, increasing your energy efficiency and preventing oil from getting into your air dryer or production equipment.
