The Ingersoll Rand 23940299 motor is a fan motor designed to be used with the IRN7.5, IRN10 and IRN15 variable speed drive rotary screw compressors. This is a .37kW / .5hp motor fan. The radial cooling fan attaches to the motor shaft to force cooling air across the warm compressor components.

Note that this fan is only used on the high voltage compressors that operate on 460v power. Your parts manual may state to use part # 22362180. 22362180 is used overseas only so you will want to purchase 23940299 which was used in the United States.
