The separator filter element removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent downstream. Changing the separator element on an annual basis will increase your energy efficiency by reducing the pressure drop across the sump. This separator prevents oil from getting into your downstream production equipment. This Ingersoll Rand separator element should be changed annually or every 4,000 hours, whichever occurs first.
