OEM Ingersoll Rand 38457537 Replacement Drain Solenoid Valve for D-IN Series Air Dryer

This is a replacement drain solenoid valve that is used on a variety of Ingersoll Rand refrigerated air dryers. The drain solenoid opens to release the moisture that has been removed by the air dryer. This drain includes the two-way inlet/outlet ¼” ports and the electrical prongs to connect the timer solenoid.

38457537 is a common replacement part. It is recommended to test this drain annually and replace if the purge valve stays open so it does not waste compressor air. Depending on the CFM of the compressor, it may cause it to stay constantly on due to the constant leak.
