The Ingersoll Rand 48779375 is an OEM straight union equal socket connection for their 40mm and 1.5" SimplAir air compressor piping. 48779375 is used to connect two pieces of their 40mm 1.5” aluminum compressed air pipe together. This can be used for longer runs where two pieces of straight pipe need to be connected. This may be referred to as a union adapter or equal socket.

Simplair piping has a maximum working pressure of 220psi. These are push fit style connections using nickel plated brass fittings and a high nitrile seal with stainless steel bite ring.
