Chicago Pneumatic OEM 6221372850 Rotary Screw Air Compressor Separator Element

This separator element will fit most Chicago Pneumatic QRS10HP and QRS15HP rotary screw air compressors that were manufactured after September 2008. This is also a common oil separator used on the Quincy QGS10 and QGS15 rotary screw compressors and several Atlas Copco models. Sometimes this part can be shown as 6221 3728 50 or 6221-3728-50.

When changing the separator element, it is also recommended to change the compressor oil, oil filter, and air filter element.

This CP separator element should be changed every 4,000 hours or a minimum of once per year. The separator filter removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent downstream. Proactively changing the separator element will reduce the pressure drop across the sump tank, increasing your energy efficiency and preventing oil from getting into your air dryer or production equipment.
