LGM40 Mark IV Genie Air Compressor Pilot Unloader Valve

The Mark IV Load Genie® is a constant run pilot unloader valve. This allows a piston or reciprocating compressor to run in constant run mode when the compressor pump does not have built-in head unloaders. The LGM-40 combines a pilot valve, vent valve and check valve all in one piece for continuously running compressor applications.

This unloader valve is most commonly used in gasoline or truck mount style applications and does include a separate 1/8”NPT port to connect an engine throttle cable. The LGM40 can also be used for stationary electric compressor applications.

One side of the LGM40 connects to the tank and another line connects to the discharge line coming from your pump. The thread on each side is ½” NPT. There is a manual unloading lever to allow the compressor to run in the unloaded state during cold weather applications. The valve is pre-set from the factory to kick in at 145psi and unload at 175psi. The maximum flow rating on this valve is 30cfm at 250psi.
